im glad the superbowl will be over today....it has been crazy insane at work...considering my store is just a few blocks down from all the action, im just tired of all the traffic taking a 30 minute drive home...to an hour drive home...
it's been a crazy week...
i've been in a wreck...
apt broken into...
and losing my drivers liscence and my corporate credit card...
i've had a round of bad luck...
Good news was that my parent came to visit...that was fun..and we saw the blue man group......which was amazing!
im ready for a break! |

i officially started work at my store yesterday. i've been working there but it was just a couple of days here and a couple of days there. i honestly felt a little overwhelmed. which is kind of scary. i am working in a store that makes 60+ million a year and i am expected to "fix" it. i think part of the issue is that its been several months since i've actually worked in a store, and on top of that the last store i worked in was tiny compared to this one. i am really excited about the holidays to be over, so maybe it won't be so crazy. although the stores nickname is "The Beast"....so i don't know.

I have been so anxious about this new job.
I am doing a lot of training right now, luckily I have grown a lot since my last "working with a coach".
I have learned out to stand up for myself, I wasn't getting the training that I need....and I spoke up...
I have gotten nothing but praises for saying something.
I spent the earlier this morning, and into the afternoon with my new team.
I loved it!
I am so excited about my team, and I am so ready to start working there.
I am working at 2 different stores this week, hopefully to get some better training.
I will then spend the next couple of weeks in Orlando training with "the best"
I am so excited!!!
I am working with 3 other females in my management team... and 2 males...girl power! haha!
I just realized that I started every sentence with I.....oh man I am exhausted! |

today is my last day at work in dothan...
im actually very excited about the move. although i am going to miss my family dearly, i am looking forward to new people, new adventures, new role at work!
i still need to get a gps...tampa is so large and my internal navigation doesn't work when i am there. |

i've lost my receipt for the boxes i purchased. and i need to return them...and now he supposedly can't find my transaction.

John and I were job offered......for different jobs....and we didn't even interview!!!

i am tired of the same day in a day out....
i spent my day grocery shopping...
for which after shopping i realized i left a $10 coupon at home...so i went back and got my $10 back...
as well as after my 2nd trip i realized that i bought another bottle of conditioner vs. a new bottle of shampoo.
the rest of my day has been listening/watching a house marathon...and doing a puzzle.
i spoke to an ex-boyfriend today(to wish him happy birthday)...he is in south africa, and then on to australia tomorrow...what a life.
anyone want to be friends? |

i don't know what it is....
but today i just feel so content and happy....
it's been the first time in a long time, that i have felt so just ok with me...
john and i just hit our 2 year wedding anniversary...and it was awesome...
we went to surin, then to on-tap and met up with a lot of our old friends...it felt good to be back in the city...i cried a little that night missing our old life up there...but now thinking about it....as much as i dispise living in this town...i am happy to have my best friend with me...
i bought john a brand new tahoe for our anniversary....he's never had a new automoblie, and i always end up with the new cars...i think he was shocked that i actually wanted to get it...
my father's 60th birthday is in about a week. i can't belive he is going to be 60....it really makes me want to start having kids, just so they can experience our parents at a younger age. heck i am 25 and one of my grandmothers is 95......so she's always been so old to me...even though shes been mowing her own grass up until a few years ago...
we will see what comes of that... |

It has rained non-stop today....thanks to Fay.
which made me sleep in till 12:30.
I painted tonight...felt good...been a couple of months...

apparently I have the worst memory every....seriously my short term is horrible.
I changed the date of an appointment.....so I go to the appointment today...and the appointment is tomorrow.
this is the 2nd or 3rd time I have gone on the wrong day. who knows.
I am also super nervous about a new job interview. I have been doing a lot of research preparing for the interview. I also went on some site consultations with a guy that is doing the job that I am applying for. I enjoyed it, I just know I would do the job totally different. I am nervous that I will get too overwhelmed. I really love what I am doing now, but it is only a short time. The job ends in September...so I need to find something else. And this new job I can make a crap-ton more money.
I have been on the road all day. I am tired.
I seriously feel like I am engrossed in my work. I am off on the weekend...yet I check my email several times a day.
Also yesterday morning, I noticed that one of my toenails was missing its polish. I have all my toes perfectly manicured...and one of my toes now it missing its polish. like it just popped off, no residue or anything. Really strange. I'll get to it soon....
I left the fridge open all day. I think John and I have no brains. Week before last he left the freezer open all night. I guess we are two peas in a pod.
Jeff Lewis: " First and foremost, you must be attractive to work here." I find some truth in that statement. Not necessary that you have to be drop dead gorgeous, but I believe that you should care how you look to the general public.
Jennie: "Do you go to the bathroom a lot?"......I just find that funny! All interviews should have that question.
